Mildred Adams Fenton (West Branch (Iowa), 14 de noviembre de 1899-7 de diciembre de 1995). Fue paleontóloga y geóloga en la Universidad de Iowa. Realizó docenas de libros científicos como coautor con su marido, Carroll Lane Fenton, incluyendo Records of Evolution (1924), Land We Live On (1944), y Worlds in the Sky (1963).

Primeros años y educación[editar]

Mildred Adams nació en West Branch (Iowa).[1]​ Se graduó en la Universidad de Chicago, donde conoció al que sería su marido Carroll Lane Fenton mientras ambos eran estudiantes.[2]​[3]​ Contrajeron matrimonio en 1921. Carroll falleció en 1969.[4]​
