DescripciónMigration of early medieval Croats according to craniometric studies.jpg
English: The map shows assumed migration routes of early medieval Croats according to the craniometric studies. The results of multivariate statistical procedures indicate that the early medieval Dalmatian Croats were of Slavic origin and classified into the cluster with sites (Cedynia, Ostrów Lednicki, Wiślica) from Poland, and presumably migrated from Lesser Poland along the direct route Nitra (Slovakia) - Zalaszabar (Hungary) - Nin (Croatia), and gradually expanded into the continental hinterland of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the 10th century, however, only after the 11th century to the Northern and Eastern Croatia where were distinguished from Bijelo Brdo cultural cluster.
