"The Steamer Oregon", from brochure Seattle and the Orient (1900). At the time, the ship was about to begin a trading on a route to Cape Nome, northern Alaska. There were several steamers in that era known as the Oregon, including one owned by Cunard; I don't know anything more about the history of this particular ship. |
