PART OF WKSTINGHOUSK iEl^KCTRIC COMPANYS EXHIBIT, and some beautiful scroll, work. Altogether 1988 incandescentlamps of 16 candle-power in frosted and plain white and colors areemployed in this artistic piece of work. On the ground floor aspecial dark building is used to illuminate the recent and absorbinglyinteresting developments made by Nicola Tesla, of the use of hightension alternating currents. Large glass plates backed with tinfoil, on which are outlined, in paper, various figures, arc used, andon them the play of the electric spark produces effects that aredazzling and extremely beautiful. A voltage of 30,000 is used upto the condensers, and after it leaves them it Is estimated that thecurrent has a power of two million volts. Mr. Tesla also shows anumber of other interesting experiments, some of which are somarvellous as to be almost beyond description.
