The display shows the distribution of energy, showing if, when driving, you're charging the battery using the motor or regenerative braking, or draining the battery, and battery level. This photograph shows a low battery, being charged by the internal combustion engine. The buttons on the sides of the display indicate that this Prius has a built-in GPS unit.
