English: This diagram shows the path an aircraft would follow during a typical "Teardrop Penetration Procedure", starting at the top right of the diagram and proceeding downward in a teardrop turn. A teardrop turn is a method of reversing the course of an aircraft so that it returns on its original path, travelling in the opposite direction, and passes through a specified point on the original path. |
