La teología natural, también llamada teología racional, es el intento de encontrar evidencia de Dios sin recurrir a ninguna revelación sobrenatural. Se distingue, así, de la teología revelada, basada en las Escrituras o en experiencias religiosas (cosmogonía).
Esta expresión es usada en la actualidad por seguidores del diseño inteligente, para tratar de dar valor a pruebas que consideran científicas, pero que son descartadas y consideradas erróneas por las ciencias naturales;[1] o usada por algunos tipos de partidarios de la evolución teísta, como el posible origen de una futura explicación natural de Dios.
