Marco Magoa (English bellow). Dramaturgo, actor, director de teatro y productor. Madrid, 1972. Ha estudiado en España, EEUU, Italia, Siria, Marruecos y Egipto. Ha dirigido hasta ahora catorce espectáculos en inglés, castellano, portugués y árabe en Europa, África, Oriente Medio y EEUU. Estudió Arte Dramático en El Instituto del Teatro y Las Artes Escénicas en Gijón, Asturias. Además de castellano, habla árabe clásico, egipcio e inglés.

Ha trabajado como actor para la compañía Teatro Margen, La Fura del´s Baus, Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, Teatro Real de Madrid, la Compañía Lope de Vega bajo la dirección de Don José Tamayo y como solista y tenor cómico en la Compañía Lírica Nacional. Ha participado como actor episódico en más de once series de televisión.

Funda en el año 2007, y desde entonces dirige, su compañía de teatro teatro4m, con la que ha creado y presentado catorce montajes de teatro en cuatro idiomas en Europa, África, Oriente Medio y EEUU con la participación de más de 70 artistas de nueve nacionalidades distintas. Ha impartido talleres de interpretación y también dado conferencias en varias universidades del mundo. Su trabajo ha sido analizado e incluido en varios estudios publicados por catedráticos de universidades en Grecia e Italia.

(Bio in English) Marco Magoa (Playwright, actor and theater director. Madrid, Spain, 1972.) studied the last year of high school in St. Louis, Missouri, EEUU and graduates as an actor in Spain. He has studied in USA, Italy, Morocco, Syria, Egypt, and Spain. At the age of twenty five is already playing a main role from the classical Spanish repertory from the 17^th century. He has worked as a “Comical Tenor” at the Compañía Lírica Nacional in Spain, and has performed as an actor at Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, Teatro Real, Teatro Español, La fura del`s Baus and Compañía Lope de Vega.

He has played roles in more than 11 soup-operas and TV series as an actor.

In 2007 founded his own theater company “teatro4m”, presenting his projects until now in Spanish, English, Portuguese, Africans and Arabic in several countries around the world (Morocco, Denmark, Spain, Egypt, Jordan, Tunis and Namibia) with the participation of at least seventy artists from more than eleven different nationalities. He has written five plays and has given lectures at universities in Egypt, Tunis, Namibia and Spain.

His works have been analyzed by Savas Patsalidis: Professor of theatre history and theory in the School of English of Aristotle University, the Hellenic Open University and the Drama Academy of the National Theatre of Northern Greece in his study The Suppliants and by Paola Belloni professor of Spanish literature in the University of Verona, Italy, in her study Pesan los muertos de ayer y mañana.
