Superlibro

Superlibro (Superbook) [1]​ actualmente es una serie animada estadounidense con derechos de CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) [2]​, sin embargo, esta se empezó a producir fue en japones en el año 1981, con el objetivo de producir programas de animación para compartir el Evangelio. En Japón fue producida y dirigida por los directores Masakazu Higuchi y Kenjiro Yoshida, por las producciones de Tatsunoko Production en Japón. Superlibro tuvo dos adaptaciones la antigua en la década de los 80' (Solo en Japón) y la actual apartir del 2008 (Estados Unidos y resto del mundo). Actualmente cuenta con una aplicación en la Play Store de Android y en la App Store de iOS.


La serie toma los hechos relatados en la Biblia de manera que los personajes de la serie participan en ser testigos de esos sucesos. Algunos de los personajes que en ésta participan son los niños llamados Anita (Azusa en japonés, Joy en inglés) y Luis (Sho Azuka en japonés, Christopher en inglés), el doctor Pérez, papá de Luis y Tuercas (Zenmaijikake en japonés, Gizmo en inglés), el robot de juguete de Luis.

Lo que ocurre en la serie es que Superlibro, se abre por si sólo y les habla a Anita, Luis y Tuercas sin que el doctor Pérez se entere, lo cual solo queda en secreto entre ellos tres y los lleva a recorrer el tiempo. En ese viaje, se encuentran con diferentes personajes bíblicos con quienes comparten aventuras. Al terminar el viaje vuelven al tiempo de actual donde ellos viven y se acaba la historia . [3]​

La serie narra los acontecimientos de la Biblia, del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento en sus episodios.

Adaptación actual[editar]

CBN comienza a producir desde cero otra vez los episodios de Superlibro sin el estilo japones, sin embargo, no pierde el punto de vista central: Compartir el Evangelio. "A Giant Adventure" ("Una aventura gigante"), fue el primer episodio de la recientemente renovada serie de Superbook de CBN, se estrena en el Major Donors Partner Weekend en CBN, el 5 de abril. En esta nueva renovación CBN lanza el sitio web de Superbook el 2 de noviembre. Desde su lanzamiento en noviembre de 2009, más de 613350 personas han hecho una profesión pública de fe en el sitio web de Superlibro, y 162000 adicionales en la aplicación de la Biblia Superbook Kids. En el 2014 lanzan de Superbook Academy que es un currículo de la iglesia CBN basado en la serie Superlibro reinventada para los grados 1-6. En 2015, Superlibro se transmite en más de 90 países a una audiencia de 252 millones de personas. A partir de 2016, la aplicación Superbook Kids Bible se ha descargado más de 2,2 millones de veces, se han producido 35 episodios del programa de animación Superlibro y CBN completa la traducción de Superlibro a 50 idiomas.
