The pretext is that I am not Mexican or a native speaker of Spanish, Portuguese being my 1st language. Those things are true and therefore I prefer to write here in English. However these are mere excuses. I recognize that the text could and should be improved by people more fluent in Spanish and more knowledgeable about Jalife, yet not being Mexican doesn't imply I am not allowed to be interested and do my research on the subject, and neither does it give carte blanche for people to push their ideology into Wikipedia.
The important fact is that some wikipedia editors have been using language straight out of anti-semitic literature in the page. They removed the sources that explain why Jalife is accused of racism and document his own use of racist language. They also select some of his opinions, and selectively eliminate others, conceivably because they believe it will make his ideology more appealing.
I respectfully request that editors more knowledgeable about the subject and more fluent in Spanish revert the changes of the editors who are intent on endorsing hate speech and using anti-semitic language and ideology in Wikipedia.--Felipe.pait (discusión) 01:17 23 may 2019 (UTC)[responder]
Motivo de la decisión:
No, no se te ha bloqueado porque tu lengua materna sea portugués o por como te guste escribir en inglés. Tampoco te ha revertido ningún vándalo. Y todos los que han intervenido no son mexicanos, así que la nacionalidad no tiene nada que ver. Se te ha bloqueado por comportarte como una cuenta con propósito particular de editar esa biografía en concreto, por editar arbitrariamente (referenciando a Wikipedia, escribir todo en mayúsculas, teorías conspiranoicas, etc...), por entrar en una larga guerra de ediciones con cuatro usuarios, incluido un administrador y llamarles vándalos. Además, referirte a ellos y al proyecto como racistas y antisemitas en una solicitud de desbloqueo es suficiente para no aceptarla. Lo siento, en estas condiciones no. I suppose that for some of the editors and administrators it is OK to utilize language straight out of the Protocols of the Sages of Zion and use Wikipedia to endorse the idea of an worldwide Jewish conspiracy for world domination. Those editors will willfully remove any indication of the pernicious sources of the thought they defend. As for the ALLCAPS text, it was the only way I found to call attention to the fact that the people editing the page were spreading racist propaganda. It attracted a number of edits from other people, which were removed by the editors, who insisted in maintaining the racist language without comment. Perhaps one should not be too surprised that editors who are interested in this page would think that spreading racist hate speech in Wikipedia is a worthy cause.
