Kim Yeo-jin (Masan, Provincia de Gyeongsang del Sur; 24 de junio de 1972) es una actriz y activista surcoreana.

Carrera[editar]

Debutó como actriz en la obra de teatro What Do Women Live For en 1995, y desde entonces ha permanecido activa en el cine y la televisión, ganando alabanzas por sus papeles de reparto en Girls' Night Out (1998) del director Im Sang-soo, Peppermint Candy (2000) de Lee Chang-dong, y Chi-hwa-seon (2002) de Im Kwon-taek.[1]​[2]​

Conocida por estar activamente en varias manifestaciones y grupos cívicos, atrayendo la atención del público a controversiales temas sociales y políticos, incluyendo esfuerzos para restablecer a los astilleros despedidos en Hanjin Heavy Industries, la petición de menores tasas de matrícula universitaria, y la oposición al Proyecto de los Cuatro Ríos más importantes.[3]​[4]​[5]​[6]​[7]​

A menudo expresa sus opiniones en el servicio de la red social Twitter,[8]​[9]​[10]​[11]​[12]​ y ha sido llamada una de las celebridades más populares envueltas en temas sociales.[13]​
