El Premio Tony Kent Strix es un galardón internacional entregado por el UK electronic information Group (UKeiG), un grupo de investigación del Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP)[1]. Fue creado en 1998 por el entonces denominado como Institute of Information Scientists (IIS), siendo el inglés Stephen Robertson el primer científico premiado [2].
Este galardón tiene carácter anual y se entrega a ingenieros, informáticos o informatólogos que hayan realizado contribuciones esenciales en el campo de la Recuperación de Información.
