Esta es tu página de discusión, en la cual puedes recibir mensajes de otros wikipedistas. Cuando esta llegue a ser muy extensa, puedes archivar las discusiones pasadas. Para dejar un mensaje a otro wikipedista debes escribir en su página de discusión, si no, no será notificado. Al final del mensaje debes firmar escribiendo ~~~~ o presionando el botón mostrado en la imagen. Recuerda que los artículos no se firman.

Hola, gracias por contactar conmigo pero no voy a poder ayudarte demasiado porque normalmente no edito en esta wikipedia, yo trabajo más en la Galipedia. Te recomiendo que te pases por el programa de tutoría de la wikipedia que a buen seguro allí habrá gente que podrá ayudarte. mailing lists or listservs

Another way to find contacts and learn more about what is going on in the Wiki-world is through listservs. I recommend that you join three, one in Spanish and two in English.

[1] is the page to join the listserve for Wikimedia México

[2] is for the North American list for GLAM projects, which is new (yes, Mexico is considered to be in North America by English speakers

[3] This is for the general, international GLAM listserv.

problems with citations

The problem was that others left out citations in other parts of the article. In order to have something like <ref name="abre"/> you have to have somewhere in the article a form of this with the same name with all of the reference information. If you go to "ver historial" an compare versions I worked on, you can see what I added.Thelmadatter (discusión) 03:13 21 ago 2011 (UTC)

MODO en español

I just went over the translation of the MODO article. I dont expect you to know all about the coding stuff at the beginning but one problem that stood out was that citations were missing (and maybe some still are, I have to check again). Missing citations caused problems because when another worked on their section, which had short references, used for repetition such as <ref name="abre"/>, error messages appeared because that code did not know what to reference to. Please do NOT skip citations (references)! They are extremely important. Linking to other Wikipedia articles, categorization and the like can be skipped as they do not relate to communicating in English (the purpose of the course) and others in Wikipedia can easily fix that. Not so with citation (references). English academic writing is very demanding of this and if you skip it in Wikipedia, it is almost impossible for another to fix the problem. So the article is likely to be left with a "needs citations" tag. Ugly.Thelmadatter (discusión) 13:10 21 ago 2011 (UTC)

Portfolio for this partial

I havent stressed putting together a portfolio for the grading this semester but it may be a good idea. I did mention something to this effect, which basically means saving your annotated readings and making printouts of work you do in Wikipedia. I think this is important as while I will give you a grade, I cant officially put that in the system. I have to hand them to the department to give to the teacher whose class you are officially registered in. The more evidence we can show for the work you are doing, the better. Keep everything, and be prepared to print things like your talk pages, emails and contributions list (in Wikipedia, its next to your name at the top) In this way, we can make sure there are no misunderstandings.Thelmadatter (discusión) 20:55 26 ago 2011 (UTC)

The Timeline article is fine but the Team Building article has multiple issues as noted by the warning tag. In particular the lack of citations is problematic for me. Please find another article.Thelmadatter (discusión) 14:25 29 ago 2011 (UTC)

Te aparece porque añades los corchetes, que en el código wiki indican plantilla. Al no haber ninguna plantilla con ese nombre, el sistema te añade la palabra. Sí quieres que te salgan los corchetes, añádelos entre <nowiki></nowiki>, si lo que quieres es que salga el punto, no le pongas corchetes. Traducir de la edición inglesa

Sobre lo que comentas en el artículo Festival Internacional Cervantino, el hecho de que un artículo exista tal cual es, no significa que en la edición en español no deba contar con referencias suficientes, redacción coherente, y verificabilidad de las fuentes. Hola. Para poder eliminar la plantilla de referencias, tienes que buscar fuentes fiables que sustenten la información incluida en el artículo, ya que Wikipedia no es fuente primaria. Recuerda que no sirven blogs, foros, sitios autopublicados ni webs similares. Para poder quitar la plantilla de wikificar, basta con que sigas estos pasos. Si tienes dudas, dímelo. Aparece que ya está arreglado este problema. Hice correcciones hoy en la mañana y nadie no hizo nada después. La ultima etiqueta es las de "wikificado." No puedo ayudar en esto directamente porque no soy hablante nativa del español. Hablo con Ricardo para convencerlo de hacer correciones. Es lingüista en habla hispana y depués de su trabajo, podemos tener la habilidad de quitar la etiqueta.Thelmadatter (discusión) 19:47 27 sep 2011 (UTC)
